Nature based activities are defined as visitors who participated in, among other activities, at least one of the following:
- a visit to a national or state park
- a visit to a wildlife park, zoo or aquarium
- a visit to a botanical or other public garden
- a bushwalk or rainforest walk
- whale or dolphin watching in the ocean
- Snorkelling
- Scuba Diving
