- A confidential monthly report detailing your establishment's performance relative to other like‑establishments in their sector, tourism region, state - both as charts and data.
- Broader level performance data at the sector, region, state, and national levels.

About the SSAS
Through Tourism 2020, Tourism Research Australia (TRA) is working with STR Global Limited (STR) to collect, collate and display the performance of small-scale accommodation properties throughout Australia, covering:
- Hotels, motels and serviced apartments (up to 14 rooms)
- Visitor hostels
- Caravan parks (cabins and sites)
The SSAS is an initiative of Australian and state and territory governments with the support of industry associations.
That music festival drove occupancy rates to full but what impact did it have on yields? That new road into your tourism region is open but what impact is it having on takings? The SSAS is designed to assist answer those questions and assist grow your business, maximise returns, and improve business planning.
For the broader industry and government at all levels, the SSAS provides a deeper understanding of regional and sectoral performance for policy and planning purposes.
