Australian Government response to NTEMS and NTIS

The National Tourism Emerging Markets Strategy (NTEMS): China and India and the National Tourism Investment Strategy (NTIS): Investing for our future were released in December 2005 and March 2006, respectively. These reports made recommendations to all levels of government and the tourism industry, aimed at improving Australia's competitiveness as a destination of choice for tourists world-wide.

The AEC Group Ltd was commissioned to prepare a Research Report and Emerging Markets Capability Audit to inform these strategies. These reports were released in July 2006.

The Australian Government released its response to these reports in January 2007.
