Tourism Quality Council of Australia

The Tourism Quality Council of Australia (TQCA) will be responsible for the overarching policy and direction of the NTAF, as well as for making decisions concerning the grant of NTAF licensing rights to eligible programs and schemes.

Nominations Sought

Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified industry representatives who wish to participate in the delivery of the NTAF and in activities aimed at encouraging the continual improvement of quality within the Australian Tourism Industry.

Successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to, or interest in, the improvement of quality within the tourism industry and demonstrate experience or skill in at least one of the following areas:

  • Commercial tourism experience
  • Corporate governance
  • Marketing and Promotion
  • Business Management
  • Regional development
  • Quality control, accreditation or promotion
  • Environment, cultural and indigenous tourism issues
  • Understanding of consumer trends, needs and expectations
  • Understanding of dispute resolution

Expressions of interest must be received by the Department of Resources Energy and Tourism at NTAF@ret.gov.au  by COB Monday 18 January 2009
