About the TQUAL Tick
The T-QUAL Tick is T-QUAL Accreditation’s national symbol of quality for tourism products and services in Australia.
Quality assurance schemes, such as accreditation programs that accredit, certify or rate operators in the tourism industry, or Large Tourism Organisations that apply a quality standard to their operations, business units or related business entities, can apply for T-QUAL Accreditation. If successful, the operators and related business entities of Large Tourism Organisations will be offered a T-QUAL Accreditation sub-licence allowing operators and related business entities to display the T QUAL Tick, also known as the T-QUAL mark. The T-QUAL Tick is a certified Trademark and should be used in line with the T-QUAL Accreditation Logo Guide.
Consumers will be able to easily identify the T-QUAL Tick and through Tourism Australia's marketing will recognise that the T-QUAL Tick represents a commitment to quality. A national symbol of quality enables consumers to recognise and then make better informed choices about which operators or Large Tourism Organisations they engage with, giving consumers comfort that their expectations of the tourism experience will be met.
A T-QUAL Tick micro site is now available on Tripadvisor. Consumers may use this micro site to view operators listed on Tripadvisor that are T-QUAL accredited in the area they are planning to travel to.
Preferential listing through the Australia.com search engine now makes it easier for consumers to choose products displaying the T-QUAL Tick.
