Workshops

One of the key program elements of the Working in Partnership Program is encouraging the wider adoption of good practice in relationships between the mining industry and Indigenous communities.

In doing this, the Program has conducted a series of regional workshops aimed at bringing people together at a local level to discuss local issues and develop a way forward which is appropriate to their region and which will deliver mutual benefits.

The workshops are an opportunity for Indigenous communities to discuss with mining/exploration companies, opportunities for Indigenous participation in the mining industry.
