Meetings

The EWG seeks to further APEC goals of facilitating energy trade and investment within APEC economies and ensuring that energy contributes to the enhancement of the APEC community. EWG meetings are held twice a year in conjunction with Expert Group Chairs meetings and EWG Business Network meetings.

APEC Energy Trade and Investment Roundtable
The APEC Energy Trade and Investment Roundtable was held 30 September - 2 October 2008, in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. The meeting responded to instructions from APEC Energy Ministers in 2007 to promote more efficient energy markets and to facilitate cross border trade.
