Ethanol Production Grants program

About the Ethanol Production Grants program

The Ethanol Production Grants (EPG) program seeks to support production and deployment of ethanol as a sustainable alternative transport fuel in Australia.

The EPG provides full excise reimbursement, at a rate of 38.143 cents per litre, to ethanol producers for ethanol produced and supplied for transport use in Australia from locally derived feedstocks.

Applications for the EPG program can be submitted at any time during the operation of the program.

Producers who believe they may be eligible should read the EPG Program Administrative Guidelines prior to submitting an Initial Enquiry Form (see Related documents).
