Assessments – Understanding Energy Use to Identify Energy Savings - October and November 2007
Event summary
Most companies have started their assessments and a key step in undertaking an effective assessment is good data measurement and analysis. To assist companies meet their assessment requirements and learn from alternate approaches - one day workshops were held on this topic in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in October and November 2007. Topics covered included sub-metering and other techniques to measure energy use/losses, energy mass balances, representative assessments, how to present data to facilitate ideas generation and other data analysis techniques eg regression analysis, theoretical benchmarking etc.
The workshops were aimed at practitioners from companies and consulting firms that will be actually undertaking assessments, in particular measuring, analysing and presenting relevant energy and business data.
