Assessment and Reporting Schedule Workshops

As part of our ongoing assistance, participating companies were invited to a series of one-day Assessment and Reporting Schedule workshops in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. The workshops aimed to clearly communicate a process that companies could use to complete an Assessment and Reporting Schedule and meet the reporting requirements to the public and Government, provide information about Communities of Practice and deliver added value for business.

The workshops included panel sessions from companies that are taking a lead in the program and were designed to encourage networking and interactive learning among industry participants. This included representatives from BHP Billiton, Amcor, Xstrata Copper, Goodman Fielder, AMP, National Australia Bank, Stockland, Coles, Bunker Freight, Australia Post, Telstra, Zinifex, CSBP and Woodside Petroleum. Workshops participants found these sessions to be extremely valuable. These companies presented positive and constructive information about how to approach their assessments in an efficient and effective manner.

The workshops were oversubscribed with a total of 634 stakeholders participating. Attendees included participating corporations, universities, Australian and State government agencies and consulting firms.

For those unable to attend the workshops, the presentations are available for viewing below.

Also available are examples of Assessment and Reporting Schedules for the transport  [DOC, 338KB] and mining  [DOC, 368KB] sectors.
