> National Long-Term Tourism Strategy
Australia’s National Long-Term Tourism Strategy provides the long-term policy framework to position the Australian tourism industry as a sustainable and economically vibrant industry. The Strategy was unanimously endorsed by the Tourism Ministers’ Council and launched on 15 December 2009.

> National Tourism Accreditation Framework
The Government is leading the development of a National Tourism Accreditation Framework ensuring a quality customer experience achieved through an accreditation and promotional framework that recognises sustainable and capable businesses. Funding for National Tourism Accreditation

> China Approved Destination Status (ADS) Scheme
The China Approved Destination Status (ADS) Scheme is a bilateral arrangement between Australia and China that allows Australia to receive group leisure tourists from China.  The Government provided $4.1 million in the 2010/11 Budget to extend the China ADS Scheme for a further four years, to 30 June 2014.
