Undertake consumer market testing across Australia on a range of energy bill benchmarking options.	Discussion paper on energy bill benchmarking released and commence public consultation. Develop plan for implementing energy bill benchmarking nationally.
National coordination of energy efficiency information	Review of existing and previous information programs across Australian jurisdictions	Scoping study undertaken to identify ways to improve coordination of energy efficiency information programs across jurisdictions to facilitate improved access to high quality and relevant energy efficiency information.	Develop an agreed strategy for improved national coordination of energy efficiency information programs. Commence implementation of national information coordination strategy.
Development of targeted promotional campaigns		Review and assessment of previous programs.	Report on opportunities for nationally coordinated, targeted campaigns. Recommend implementation of agreed targeted campaigns.
Develop national educational program for schools			Review of current and previous jurisdictional programs and initiatives in schools that incorporate energy efficiency concepts. Review and report on current status, and opportunities for incorporating energy efficiency into the primary and secondary education system. Develop a strategy for more effectively incorporating energy efficiency into the school education system. Assess and develop suitable materials for educational programs in schools.
