The Ministerial Council on Energy (MCE) has agreed to establish a Gas Market Leaders Group to develop a gas market development plan which meets the MCE objectives and principles for Gas Market Development.

On 8 November 2005, the Ministerial Council on Energy (MCE) Standing Committee of Officials (SCO) established an-industry led Gas Market Leaders Group (GMLG) to prepare a "Gas Market Development Plan".

The GMLG has provided the Plan to the MCE SCO for consideration. No part of the plan should be considered as representing the MCE position on any of the recommendations it makes, nor the position of any individual jurisdiction represented on the MCE.
Gas Market Options Working Group Terms of Reference [DOC, 42KB]
A Gas Market Options Working Group has been established to examine Electronic Bulletin Board and City Gate spot market scheme and to advise the Gas Market Leaders Group on the feasibility and cost/benefit of these options.
