The Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism provides advice and policy support to the Australian Government regarding Australia's resources, energy and tourism sectors. The Department develops and delivers policies to increase Australia's international competitiveness, consistent with the principles of environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
Submissions in Response to the Draft Government Response to the Montara Report

On 24 November 2010, the Minister for Resources and Energy released the report of the Commission of Inquiry and the draft government response to the report.

Subsequent to this, a three month consultation period on the draft government response was held, which concluded on 25 February 2011.

Fifteen were submissions received, including two confidential submissions. The submissions made on a confidential basis will not be made publicly available.
