About the response

On 7 February 2007, the Senate Committee on Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport released its final report into Australia's future oil supply and alternative transport fuels. The Committee’s report contained findings of the inquiry and ten recommendations for Government.

On 28 May 2012, the Hon Martin Ferguson AM MP released the Australian Government’s response to the Senate Standing Committee on Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport’s report into Australia’s Future Oil Supply and Alternative Transport Fuels.
